Rowan Blanchard’s Instagram is consistently goals on goals. The actress has recently been going behind the camera to take photos of her friends and herself that are out-of-this-world beautiful. But that’s not the only thing that’s supernatural about her account, as it seems she stumbled upon an extraterrestrial subject for her ‘gram yesterday (Aug. 23).
Wait, what?! Yes, really — Rowan says she saw a UFO in New York City. She went on to explain that a “thing” appearing in her photo wasn’t actually there IRL. And while we know that camera phones aren’t the most reliable technology in the whole world, we’d get pretty freaked out if something just mysteriously appeared in our photos, too.
Though paranormal activity is often a see-it-to-believe-it concept, it seems Rowan has definitely been convinced of its existence. She also followed up with a second post that may have you thinking twice about her “sighting”: her makeup artist did some research and apparently John Lennon saw a UFO on August 23, 1974 — the same exact day as Rowan. It doesn’t get much weirder than that. Whether extraterrestrials exist or not, that’s undoubtedly the creepiest coincidence ever.
