UFO SIGHTING!

I was sitting inside my truck outside of my house I had just gotten home from the store and I looked out my window and saw the light flashing so I asked my girlfriend if she could see it as well and we stared at it for a good 10 minutes we noticed it was hovering it would blink multiple colors and it appeared to be spinning and moving up and down but in the same area. We were looking at it and I looked at the rest of the sky and saw the same thing further out and it looked like they were communicating both blinking and the one which was further kept getting closer and closer to the first one but very slowly. I couldn’t grasp what it could possibly be and my reaction to this at first I was freaked out and both me and my girlfriend were scared neither of us leaving the truck. This kept going for about an hour maybe more. I would like to hear back on what you think it could possibly be. ALSO- when we tried to take a photo or video of it, it wouldn’t show up on my phone but I could see it perfectly. When I put my phone up to the area it just looked all black.
