Over 20 high-altitude, evenly spaced bright lights moved at a constant velocity coming out of the north-east and heading toward the city of santa fe. my initial impression for the first one was that it was a satellite. i’ve seen plenty satellites here over the years. but then many more followed on the same trajectory. i used 10×50 binoculars to view the others. they were star-like brightness and size. there was no sound and no variation in illumination until each of the lights disappeared in the exact same spot over the city of santa fe. sky was clear, as far as i can tell. we had a storm earlier in the day and the air quality was crisp and clear. i surmise that they likely disappeared due to high cloud cover i could not see–because i saw two other moving lights twinkle as they moved: one in a north to south direction and one in a south to north direction. i know they momentarily disappeared due to cloud cover that i could see. it was quite a show.
