NASA awards $70M contract to Florida Power for Kennedy Space Center utility services.
NASA has awarded a task order to Florida Power and Light, based in Juno Beach, Florida, to provide electric distribution utility services at the Kennedy Space Center. The contract is valued at $70 million and spans five years, starting July 1, 2025. It includes a two-year base period, followed by a two-year and a one-year option period. The contract requires the awardee to manage all aspects of electric distribution, including management, labor, transportation, facilities, materials, and equipment, up to and including all meters across the spaceport.
