NASA's Artemis II

NASA has introduced its new Artemis II science officers: Kelsey Young, Trevor Graff, and Angela Garcia. They will be responsible for integrating science operations into the mission, ensuring that NASA's lunar science objectives are met.

The officers have completed months of training, including simulations and geology training in the classroom and in the field. They will work closely with the astronauts, who have also undergone extensive training to prepare for the mission.

The Artemis II mission will test the lunar science team's workflows, technical requirements, and integration into Mission Control. The crew will conduct a lunar flyby, taking photographs and recording audio of their observations, which will be fed back to the science team for analysis.
